Steve Wheeler is a composer for media. Through his collaborations with Unified Sounds and Radical Rob’s House of Tunes (RRHOT), his music is heard regularly on broadcast and cable television across the globe including programs such as: NCAA basketball and football, NFL Football (including Super Bowl LIV’s pregame), the PGA Tour, Bee Czar, Murder in the Heartland, and many more. He’s also contributed to video games, providing percussion for Farpoint and audio design for Maneater.
Always pushing the boundaries of sound, Steve loves experimenting with technology to create fresh, innovative new music. From orchestral to pop, rock, electronic, jazz and metal influences, he excels at pushing creative boundaries, constantly redefining genre expectations and exploring uncharted sonic territory.
Education has also been central to Steve’s career. He has a decade of experience teaching music composition and production between Full Sail University and the Berklee College of Music. He was a Henry Mancini ASCAP Foundation fellow at the University of Miami, where he achieved his Master of Music degree in Media Writing and Production. He also holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Studio Composition at the Conservatory of Music at SUNY Purchase College.
